Endowment Just as the annual fund sustains Susquehanna's present, the endowment ensures its future. Growth in Susquehanna's endowment provides for the continued strength and resiliency that will sustain the quality of a Susquehanna education. Currently Susquehanna's endowment exceeds $110 million. The University spends a small percentage of these funds each year and a prudent investment of the principal allows the fund to be sustained in perpetuity. Thus, every gift to the endowment is a gift that sustains the University for generations to come. Touch countless young lives by establishing a scholarship fund. Honor someone you care about by funding a faculty chair in an academic department where new resources shape and change the way we teach and learn. Create connections with an endowment that supports the strategic plan. Endowment support can be made through an outright gift or with a variety of planned gifts including a testamentary gift in a will or even through gift annuities or trusts that pay you income and offer other financial planning benefits. Whatever and however you choose, a gift to the endowment is an investment in lives and futures. There may be minimum gift amounts associated with this type of contribution.
